I grew up around this trade — it was never some mystery industry I stumbled into. From there I went and studied Business and Management at Bath Spa University, because I wanted to understand how a company is actually run properly, not just how a window gets fitted.
Alongside that, I worked my way up on the tools and into managing installations — learning the trade job by job, not just in theory. Along the way I saw too many customers dealt with poorly — rushed jobs, unclear pricing, and little accountability when something went wrong.
That's why I started Double Glazed Windows and Doors Ltd — to do it properly, honestly, and with real accountability for every job.
